  • Newsletter: first name and email address.
  • Contact / booking: the information you choose to share when writing to us or starting a WhatsApp conversation.
  • Online payment: name, email, and phone number. Card and payment details themselves are handled directly by our payment providers -- Baraka Gate never stores them.
  • Browsing: cookies, see section 8.

3. Why we process this data

  • Provide your 360° Diagnostic result and personalized action plan.
  • Follow up when you request a quote or a booking.
  • Send you our newsletter, if you subscribed to it.
  • Process your registration or purchase for a program.
  • Improve our services and keep the site secure.

4. Legal basis

For each piece of data we process, the law requires us to point to a specific reason that allows it. Depending on the case, one of the following three applies:

  • You started the process yourself: requesting the Diagnostic, asking for a quote, or buying a program. Processing your name and email to follow through is a direct consequence of your own request.
  • You gave your explicit consent: this covers the newsletter (you click "Subscribe") and non-essential cookies (the Accept / Decline banner).
  • Our legitimate interest, without harming your rights: for example, securing the site against abuse, or improving our services.

5. Retention period

We keep commercial leads (Diagnostic, newsletter, quote requests) for 3 years from the last contact, and customer records for the duration of the business relationship plus any applicable accounting and legal obligations.

6. Who receives this data

  • The Baraka Gate team.
  • Our technical service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment), bound by confidentiality.
  • Our customer relationship management (CRM) tool, used to track our relationship with you.

7. Transfers outside Senegal

Some of our technical providers host or process data outside Senegal. We only work with providers offering recognized security guarantees.

8. Cookies

A consent banner (Accept / Decline) is shown on your first visit. Essential cookies, required for the site to function, are always active. Any non-essential cookie (audience measurement, etc.) is only set with your consent.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems.

10. Your rights

Under Senegalese law n° 2008-12 of January 25, 2008 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, and request the deletion of your data. You can exercise these rights directly from our My personal data page, or by writing to contact@barakagate.com.
